Mobile devices are essential to everyday life, and we use them for a variety of tasks.

-Designing your site so that it is mobile friendly is important because people can access the internet from their phones in any location they please.

-Responsive design techniques focus on making sure your website or blog looks good on all screen sizes by using percentages rather than pixels. One way you could do this would be to set up two columns (one designed specifically for desktop screens only) and one column with content designed primarily for smaller screens like laptops or tablets; then when someone visits your site from their phone, they will automatically see the column that focuses on small screens instead of the full page layout which was originally intended just for users that want to learn what is going on he “bigger” screen.

-A few tips for designing a mobile responsive website are to use percentages rather than pixels, make sure your buttons fit on one line so they can be scrolled across the page without being too small and don’t include any huge images because it will slow down loading time.

-There is also great resources out there about how to design a site that has both desktop/tablet layout as well as tablet only layouts like this article here.
